We spent 3 weeks traveling from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls, to Salta, to Mendoza and back to Buenos Aires. Guides, excursions, hotels, and in- country flights we all arranged by Jan. Each segment of the trip was flawless. The guides were friendly and professional and always on time. The excursions were well planned and not jammed together, allowing us time to explore on our own. The hotels selected by the company were excellent and always well located. While each day had a planned activity, we always had enough personal time on our own to experience the environment we were in. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of Heart of Argentina Travel and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience while traveling to Argentina. 5 Stars only because they don’t allow 6!

We made a three week tailored journey to Argentina and Chile in Sept-Oct 2019, having more than ten targets. All communication with Heart of Argentina Travel worked swift and properly, so did all the arrangements with fully professional partners. Because that many phases, accuracy in transports was the key issue. We can’t say the tour was cheap, but Jan and Lis had’nt more than two months time to make all the arrangements to three countries and all the details worked properly. With special interest in bird watching and nature, we visited the Esteros del Iberá wetlands, the Sierras de Córdoba, Mendoza (crossing the Andes at the Aconcagua), Santiago de Chile and Puerto Varas (Chile), where we combined the Chilean and Argentinean lake districts. We ended our trip in Colonia – Uruguay. We are very happy with our complete trip, we highly recommend Heart of Argentina Travel for everybody who likes to get the best full portion experiences ever dreamed of.

Our trip took us from a glacier on New Years Eve to the high desert wine country. A highlight was a road trip through Salta province – Cachi and Cafayate. “Everything was done to make our trip relaxed and stress free”

We have just returned from a five week holiday in Argentina organized for us by Heart of Argentina Travel. We had spent several months trying to decide what to do and where to go and were getting very confused, although we had decided that we were going to stay in the North of Argentina. Luckily we stumbled on the website of Lis & Jan and having contacted them on Skype they suggested a drive between Salta, Mendoza and Cordoba and the rest was easy. They booked all our hotels, all good and well located and some just brilliant. We would never have found them ourselves. They also booked the car for us and organized airport transfers. They organized a guide for us in Buenos Aires, something we would never have thought of doing ourselves, but well worth it as he was interesting and good company and gave us useful local information. Everything was done to make our trip relaxed and stress free. Added to which they were in contact with us almost everyday to make sure things were going OK. We couldn’t have been better looked after. We couldn’t recommend Jan and Lis too highly.

I made the decision to use Jan and Liz after reading about them on Tripadvisor. I couldn’t have been happier. They arranged a 9 day trip to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls for my husband and I and our two twenty-something sons. We stayed in very unique hotels and had fantastic guides – all arranged by Jan and Liz. What do you do if you already have planned a holiday to Argentina, but have no time to organize it yourself? Some searching in Google and find out what the possibilities are. Fortunately we got in contact with Heart of Argentina Travel, a local travel organization run by the Dutch/Argentinean couple Jan & Lis. We had a rough idea what we wanted to see and visit, they just did the rest and booked great accommodations, some private excursions and car rental. Their service was fully professional, the perfectly translated our wishes into a fantastic holiday. Furthermore it was good to know that they were really interested in our experiences during the trip, if we liked the accommodations, if we liked the guide, etc. We also thought it was very comfortable to know that they live in Argentina and are always to help you out during the course of the trip.
