Support the Wichi in Chaco.

Heart of Argentina Travel supports the NGO “Fundación Deuda Interna” (FDI) financially. The goal of this non-profit-organization is to give the local indigenous population better living conditions. Unfortunately the indigenous tribes of Argentina are victims of repression and life under harsh conditions. The current Argentinean population have an “internal debt” with their own original civilizations (which is also the description of the namen of the foundation). The FDI works hard to give the Wichi population in El Chaco (one of the poorest regions of Argentina) basic needs like education, healthcare, water, etc. They already managed to create a mobile hospital, which visits the most remote areas of El Chaco. Another project which is running right now is a “Wichi University”, with the goal to get young Wichi to study at university, respecting the values of their own culture. The founder of FDI is a friend of us from Córdoba and we are glad to help him with his good and necessary work.
